New York State mandated the installation of transfer switches at all fueling stations that meet the criteria established by the NY legislature as a result of Super Storm Sandy. BP contracted Sevan to manage the installation of emergency generators and/or transfer switches in the NYC market at various locations – over 60 sites in 2013 and 2014.
Sevan delivers “at-risk” services for BP in the NYC/NJ market at 130+ sites. The program includes inspection of each canopy steel superstructure, decking, lighting and signage components for damage or degradation and appropriate reporting. Sevan manages the trades as they conduct repairs or replace components and then verifies that all work is completed.
Sevan provides construction management services for all pump and tank work in the NYC/NJ market as well as maintenance initiatives for over 55 sites in 2013 and 2014.
From 2007 -2013, Sevan provided project/construction management services during construction and ongoing facility operations of the new BP Trading floor in Chicago which supports almost 1000 traders and their support teams. The new space replaced the old Chicago Mercantile Trading floor.
In 2012 and 2013, Sevan provided project management services for the real estate and infrastructure elements of BP divestment of over 200 sites and refineries located in Southern California.
